ValueServe is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information you provide us. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and we strictly adhere to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain to you what personal information we collect and how we use it.

When you make a purchase from ValueServe you will provide us with a number of details. These will typically include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit/debit card details. You have the option to withhold any information which is not required to complete the transaction.

While you are customer of ValueServe, we manage information with regard to your account status, choice of services and customer logs. In addition, we may store customers' electronic mail and other communications as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.

ValueServe uses the contact information you provide us with to establish our service for you. We use payment information for payment processing purposes, we may use the first 6 digits (The BIN number) of your credit/debit card number to identify what bank it was issued by for fraud prevention reasons. We create and maintain other information such as customer account status, choice of services and customer logs in the normal course of providing a service.

ValueServe will not sell, share or exchange any personal information with any third party for commercial gain. Any exchange of information will only occur if it is essential, for example the validation of credit/debit card payment asnd fraud prevention and wherever possible the information will be hashed (one way encrypted) for comparisson purposes.

ValueServe may use customer information to provide customers with system information or information about new or upgraded products.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by looking in the billing control panel at https://billing.valueserve.co.uk/whmcs/. If you find any inaccuracies you can delete or correct it promptly. ValueServe follow the stringent rules of the Data Protection Act 1998 and we, therefore, ensure that information about you is not damaged, destroyed or disclosed to a third party without your permission. However, to uphold this you must confirm your identity before we will disclose any information to you.

ValueServe may use technology to save information on your computer through a session cookie that stores your shopping basket details. All cookie information is deleted once your browser is closed. You can usually modify your browser settings to prevent cookies being created, however by doing this you will not be able to order from our site or utilise our control panel software to manage your account.

ValueServe will not otherwise disclose customer personal and account information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of ValueServe, our customers, or others, or where ValueServe has good belief that the law requires such disclosure.

ValueServe will not, except for the reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that ValueServe stores or transmits for its customers.

ValueServe may, as a result of processing your order, need to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area), wherever possible this will be hashed (one way encrypted). By utilising our services, you agree to this taking place. We will not transfer your data outside the EEA (European Economic Area) for any other reason.

Customers may opt out of receiving newsletters and/or notices of new or upgraded products from ValueServe by sending a request to support@valueserve.co.uk. In this request, customers must identify their domain name and contact information.

Please note, however, that ValueServe reserves the right to send bulletins and other important information regarding our services at our discretion.

ValueServe reserves the right to alter their privacy policy. However, ValueServe will take reasonable steps to notify customers of any change via e-mail and posting on the support forums.
